Store Clerk

We are seeking reliable and friendly Store Clerks to join our team. Responsibilities include operating the cash register, processing payments, stocking stock merchandise, preparing sandwiches and deli orders.  The clerk will answer phone orders, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and provide excellent customer service.

Additional duties include assisting with boat rentals (check-in/check-out), pumping gas at the dock, completing daily opening/closing and shift task lists, performing weekly inventory counts, and handling assigned responsibilities throughout the week. Team members should be personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling cash and interacting with customers.

Requirements:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle cash transactions and make correct change
• Willingness to perform stocking, food prep, cleaning, and general store duties
• Must follow age-related regulations for alcohol, tobacco, and equipment use
• Reliable attendance and commitment to the schedule

Starting Wage: $16 per hour, with opportunities for wage increases based on experience and performance. Reliable employees over 18 may also be promoted to Shift Leader.

Schedule Commitment:
We are looking for team members who are willing to honor the availability and dates they commit to at the time of hiring. Reliability and attendance are extremely important, and employees are expected to work their scheduled shifts and remain available for the agreed-upon time period at their hiring.  Team members who complete the full season they commit to are prioritized for raises, completion bonuses and returning positions.
